Squarehead promoted PROTEAS at DALO Days 2025

Squarehead Technology participated in DALO Days 2025, held on 20–21 August in Ballerup, Denmark. In addition to demonstrating the company’s acoustic situational awareness and counter-UAS capabilities, the event provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the European Defence Fund (EDF 2022) Project PROTEAS to interested visitors.

DALO Days is recognized as the leading defense industry gathering in Scandinavia, drawing military professionals, governmental organisations, and defense-sector representatives from numerous countries. The exhibition offers a broad setting for discussing emerging capability needs, viewing new technology, and engaging with stakeholders across the international defense community.

Squarehead showcased its acoustic sensor solutions at its stand in the Super Arena, where the team met with defense procurement officials, NATO representatives, SOF personnel, and a wide range of industry partners. The exhibition provided a strong platform for reconnecting with established contacts and engaging with new audiences seeking effective surveillance and drone-detection technologies.

Alongside the product demonstrations, Squarehead briefed visitors on the PROTEAS project. These conversations outlined the project’s goal to deliver a mobile and integrated Command & Control solution for Special Operations Forces, designed to fuse multiple sensing and communication technologies.

Squarehead also presented its specific role within the consortium. The Discovair G2 acoustic sensor was highlighted for its contribution to perimeter surveillance and short-range threat detection as part of the PROTEAS system. Datasheets were shared with military and technical delegates to support a clearer understanding of the project’s purpose and European collaboration framework.

DALO Days 2025 proved highly productive for Squarehead Technology. The company strengthened its visibility, broadened its professional network, and effectively communicated both its technological capabilities and its involvement in PROTEAS. The interest and discussions generated during the event contributed positively to ongoing awareness of the project as it advances toward its forthcoming development phases.
