The PROTEAS EDF Project made a strong and dynamic presence at EUROSATORY 2026, held from June 15–19, 2026, in Paris, France. During the exhibition, several members of the PROTEAS Consortium, including the Project and Technical Coordinator, had the opportunity to showcase key project technologies, promote the project’s objectives and ongoing activities and engage with representatives from EU Ministries of Defence, NATO, industry, and other key stakeholders in the European defence sector.

Intracom Defense (IDE), the Project and Technical Coordinator, participated in EUROSATORY 2026 with its own exhibition booth, where, among its key exhibits, it showcased the PROTEAS Project. A dedicated PROTEAS roll-up banner was designed and displayed alongside the project’s concept video, while IDE representatives engaged with visitors to present the project’s objectives, technologies, ongoing activities, and expected impact. IDE’s booth attracted numerous visitors, including representatives from the Hellenic and other Ministries of Defence, NATO officers, and other governmental stakeholders, many of whom expressed interest in the technologies developed within PROTEAS and their potential operational exploitation.

Satways participated in the exhibition with a booth under the auspices of SEKPY, showcasing the PROTEAS design of the Perimeter Security System (PSS) sub-system, based on its highly modular ENGAGE C2/CSIM platform, a command-and-control solution that integrates various security technologies and provides an enhanced situational awareness regarding threats to the PROTEAS’ SOFCP. Satways also presented its fully in-house developed UGS prototype for identifying threats approaching by land. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the PROTEAS project through visual presentation, hardware demonstration, and leaflets. Among the visitors, several officers from the Hellenic and foreign MoDs, NATO officers and various other government stakeholders showed interest in pursuing applications of our products.

Impact showcased its activities under its own pavilion while also supporting several industrial partners presenting innovative solutions, including tools developed by IMPACT. Throughout the exhibition, a presentation video of the DELTA SUITE software, including MDC2 Solutions, PLFC2, and the DACAS module, was displayed, highlighting its role within the PROTEAS Project and IMPACT’s contribution to the consortium. The exhibition provided an opportunity to present IMPACT’s involvement in PROTEAS to numerous visitors, including senior representatives from the Special Operations Command and the French Army General Staff, as well as a wide range of defence industry professionals. Through these interactions, IMPACT further enhanced the visibility of the project and generated interest in its technologies among key stakeholders in the defence sector.

C&V Defence contributed its expertise and engagement to demonstrate the operational relevance and potential commercial uptake of the PROTEAS Project. Building on its ongoing commitment to supporting defence innovation and dialogue, C&V Defence facilitated engagement with Ministries of Defence and other relevant stakeholders, creating meaningful connections to support the potential operational deployment of the project’s solutions. Through its presence at EUROSATORY, C&V Defence contributed to positioning PROTEAS within the wider European defence capability development dialogue, supporting the project’s upcoming phase and its alignment with end-user needs.

Squarehead Technology promoted the PROTEAS Project through discussions with relevant European industry contacts, partners, and prospective customers. These activities took place both at the Norwegian Pavilion and during scheduled and informal meetings across the exhibition. In addition to presenting its core sensor solutions for drone detection, Squarehead provided information on its participation in PROTEAS, its ongoing activities within the project, and the opportunities arising from the consortium’s cooperation, integration, and development activities. These interactions contributed to increasing awareness of PROTEAS among European stakeholders and communicating Squarehead Technology’s contribution and ongoing work within the project.

ISD presented the PROTEAS camera system at the John Cockerill Defence / Arquus booth. Two configurations of the system were showcased: the baseline PROTEAS camera pod and a configuration designed for integration onto armoured vehicles. During the exhibition, ISD representatives held several meetings with representatives of the French, Belgian and Greek Ministries of Defence, as well as with major industry stakeholders, including Safran, Exosens, KNDS, and PATRIA. These discussions provided an opportunity to present the PROTEAS technology and explore potential business and exploitation opportunities arising from the solutions developed within the project.

Eight Bells, as the PROTEAS Communication and Dissemination Leader, attended EUROSATORY 2026 and actively supported the project’s visibility and dissemination activities throughout the exhibition. Eight Bells representatives engaged with consortium partners and relevant defence stakeholders, supporting the promotion of the project, its objectives, technologies and progress. The company’s participation also provided an opportunity to strengthen networking with European defence stakeholders, further supporting the dissemination and visibility of PROTEAS and its results.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the PROTEAS Project through visual presentations, hardware demonstrations, videos, roll-up banners, leaflets, and direct discussions with consortium representatives. The exhibition provided significant exposure to the project among representatives of European Ministries of Defence, NATO officers, governmental stakeholders, defence industry professionals, partners, and prospective customers.

In addition, PROTEAS consortium partners gathered at the Intracom Defense (IDE) booth for a group photograph, reflecting the project’s collaborative spirit and the strong cooperation among the participating organisations. Overall, the consortium’s presence at EUROSATORY 2026 provided an important opportunity to increase awareness of PROTEAS, showcase its technological developments, engage directly with relevant industry stakeholders and explore potential pathways for the future operational exploitation of the project’s solutions.
