INTRACOM DEFENSE participated in the French-Hellenic Defence Innovation Symposium, on 12-13 of December 2024, in Athens, where among its other exhibits, IDE had the pleasure to present the European Defense Fund (EDF 2022) Project PROTEAS. The Symposium was organized by the Hellenic Center for Defence Innovation (HCDI) in collaboration with the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) of the Ministry of National Defense and the Defence Innovation Agency (DIA) of France.
The two-day Symposium was dedicated to the latest advancements in defense innovation and dual-use technologies. The most cutting-edge technological solutions were presented by experts, while IDE had the chance to participate in B2B meetings with industry representatives and leading financial entities from Greece and France and to discuss the Project’s achievements and mission.
IDE’s representatives also interacted with visitors during the exhibition, discussing the innovative PROTEAS System-of-Systems that the Project will deliver for the benefit of the European military forces, as PROTEAS aims to upgrade the role of SOF, reducing not only the time for operational readiness, but also the cost of EU SOF Small Joint Operations.
Among the government representatives and Defense sector experts from the 2 countries which participated to the Symposium, were the Minister of National Defense of Greece and the Ambassador of the French Republic to Greece, Mrs. Laurance Auer, both of whom were introduced to the PROTEAS Project.
