PROTEAS 3rd Plenary Meeting

The PROTEAS (“DePloyable Special OpeRations FOrces MulTiEnvironment CommAnd Post and C2 System (SOFCPC2)”) EDF 2022 Project, convened for its 3rd Plenary Meeting on November 6th and 7th, in Paris, France. The meeting was hosted by Consortium Partner, IMPACT, a French pioneer in the field of military and security operations. Representatives from all the Consortium Partners joined this crucial meeting, mandatory for moving forward the Project’s developments.
The two-day meeting was of high importance as it built the foundation for reaching the next critical milestone in the Project’s lifecycle, the Preliminary Design Review (PDR), scheduled for M15 (Feb 2025). The primary objectives of the meeting were to review and evaluate the Project’s status and agree on the common roadmap.
A comprehensive overview of the technical work performed was presented, followed by a finetuning session to plan and enable further progress. This collaborative session enabled the partners to identify the most effective strategies for the next period.
Additionally, to the 3rd Plenary Meeting, the 9th Executive Board and the 3rd General Assembly meetings were also held, permitting strategic decision-making to take place by the Consortium.
The meetings’ outcome was very positive, including fruitful discussions on key topics and agreements on critical points to guide the project forward. Overall, PROTEAS is progressing quite satisfactorily, showing promising results in effectively delivering an innovative SOFCP solution.
